Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today announced that the city of
Roswell, Ga., has chosen its Incode®
Court Case Management and Munis®
enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to more
efficiently execute and manage day-to-day business functions while
further enabling public access to important government information. The
agreement, valued at approximately $2 million, encompasses software
licensing, maintenance and professional services, including Tyler
Consulting Services.
Roswell will leverage Incode and Munis applications to provide a widely
accessible portal that eliminates manual processes and increases the
amount of information that is readily available to the public. Tyler's
single-vendor solution will also allow Roswell to integrate new and
existing technologies, in addition to increasing internal efficiency,
reducing data entry and lessening the risk of human error.
"When looking for a technology vendor that could help us increase
functionality and more effectively interact with our citizens, we were
immediately impressed by Tyler Technologies' expertise and ability to
specifically solve each of our unique needs with a single, seamlessly
integrated platform," said Michael Fischer, Deputy City Administrator
for the city of Roswell. "Tyler's off-the-shelf, highly customizable
dashboards will allow our end users to more efficiently access the
content that is most relevant to them and enhance their experience while
streamlining communications."
Another main factor in Roswell's decision-making process was witnessing
the success of more than 200 cities and counties in Georgia that have
implemented Tyler applications. Roswell also plans on leveraging Tyler's
online community user groups, which will facilitate real-time
communication, networking and sharing of best practices between Tyler
customers nationwide.
"Tyler Technologies is proud to provide Roswell with a level of
functionality that will enable the city to achieve its technology goals
and streamline both its internal and external communications efforts,"
said Richard E. Peterson Jr., president of Tyler's ERP & School Division.
"It is amazing to see what can be achieved through the integration of
advanced government systems," said Brett Cate, president of Tyler's
Local Government Division. "Our expert technology and consulting teams
are eager to help Roswell get to the next level."
