Tyler Signs Contract with Hazleton City Authority
Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a contract with Hazleton
City Authority (HCA), Penn., for Tyler's Incode
local government software. The agreement includes software licenses,
maintenance, support and related professional services.
Under the agreement, HCA will implement several modules from Incode's
product suite, including financial, personnel management and utility
billing services.
HCA acquired the trash disposal contract for Hazleton residents as part
of its intergovernmental agreement with the city of Hazleton. In order
to fulfill that role, HCA's board sought proposals from several firms to
upgrade its current billing operation for both water and garbage
collection. After a review of several proposals, the board chose Tyler
Technologies to develop, deploy and maintain its utility billing
operations.
"Hazleton City Authority is eager to move forward with this project and
work with Tyler Technologies to boost our current capabilities in
utility billing," said Hazleton City Authority Chairman Richard Ammon.
