Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a contract with Plant
City, Fla., for Tyler's Munis® enterprise
resource planning (ERP) solution. The city selected Munis for its
ability to track, manage, reconcile and forecast finances while
eliminating redundant procedures and generating increased efficiencies.
The city spent seven months evaluating proposals, attending software
demonstrations, and interviewing other governments that utilize each
system Plant City was considering before determining that Tyler
Technologies best met their needs. The city plans to invest in a wide
range of Munis
applications, including financial management, human capital management,
citizen and employee self service, utility billing and content
management.
