Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today announced it has signed a
contract with the city of Plano, Texas, for Tyler's Incode®court
case management solution to improve court efficiency. The agreement
includes software licenses, related professional services, maintenance
and support.
"Plano Municipal Court is replacing three disparate systems with Incode
and this integration will eliminate manual processes and aid in helping
the court meet performance measures; we anticipate that eventually we
will have to raise our performance standards because of Incode's
success," said Plano Court Administrator Vicki Smith. "We're excited to
work with Tyler Technologies because they are a progressive software
company that provides the best service for its clients, including
enhancing their software through a perpetual upgrade process."
Under the agreement, Plano Municipal Court will implement Incode court
case management, document management and Tyler
Jury Management, for real-time integration with its current
e-citation vendors, police department and Tyler's online payment system.
Plano chose Tyler Technologies after visiting three north Texas cities
using Tyler's Incode solution and was impressed by the functionality of
the software and the positive feedback from employees using Tyler's
solutions.
"Tyler clients trust and rely on our software because we continually
invest in functionality and technology enhancements, and under our
perpetual license philosophy, our clients receive software updates at no
additional cost," said Brett Cate, president of Tyler's Local Government
Division. "Tyler's Incode court case management solution provides
flexible applications that allow Plano Municipal Court to operate at
full capacity in an efficient and cost-effective way. We look forward to
working with Plano to better serve its constituents."

ninth-largest city in Texas, and is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth
