Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed agreements with the town
of Farmington, Conn., and city of Hartford, Conn., to provide real
property appraisal
services for municipal revaluations. The contracts for Tyler's CLT
Appraisal Services include establishing property values for all real
property and land parcels, as well as other related services. The
successful short-term Hartford revaluation was recently completed, and
the Farmington project is scheduled to finish in January 2013.
In addition to Tyler's appraisal services, both Farmington, with a
population of 25,300 and 9,900 residential parcels, and Hartford, with a
population of 125,000 and 22,300 parcels, use Tyler's Munis®enterprise
resource planning (ERP) solution. Both Farmington and Hartford have
previously used Tyler's CLT Appraisal Services for other municipal
revaluations dating back to the 1970s.
Tyler's CLT Appraisal Services has appraised properties since 1938,
completing more than 3,000 appraisal projects in 46 states.
