Brownsville Independent School District (ISD), Texas, for Tyler's
Versatrans®student
transportation management software solution, part of Tyler's
integrated solutions for the K-12 school market.
Brownsville ISD, which has been using stand-alone modules for its
transportation management needs, chose Tyler's Versatrans solution
because it's a complete suite of integrated applications for managing
school transportation. Brownsville ISD, serving more than 49,000
students, chose multiple Versatrans
applications, including Versatrans Triptracker, Versatrans Fleetvision®,
Versatrans Routing & Planning™, and Versatrans My Stop™, which provides
mobile access for parents, students and guardians to look up school bus
location.
"Brownsville ISD's goal is to efficiently provide safe transportation
services, and with Tyler hosting Versatrans we know our data is secure
and will be properly maintained allowing us to focus on providing the
best services we can," said Noe Guerrero Jr., Brownsville ISD's
assistant administrator of transportation. "Having Tyler as sole vendor
of our transportation management solution creates value for the ISD in
many ways, including having the ability to run complete reports across
our department and implement route changes more efficiently, saving fuel
costs and work hours."
"Our clients have relied on Versatrans' industry leadership for nearly
30 years, and we will continue to deliver innovative solutions that
improve operations and create efficiencies for school districts like
Brownsville ISD," said Ted Thien, senior vice president and general
