The city selected Tyler's Incode solution to replace their antiquated
municipal court software that lacked modern features, such as financial
and collection modules. Corpus Christi invested in a wide range of
Incode applications to provide efficiencies across court functions,
including court case management, jury management, secure online payment
processing, warrant and citation import scheduling, and officer email
notification for streamlined communications.
"Online payment processing will make a huge difference in reducing the
volume of foot traffic our courthouse handles, which will make both
staff and customers happy and sustain our position as a paperless
court," said Corpus Christi's Director of Municipal Court Kimberly
Jozwiak. "Tyler Technologies implements best business practices directly
into their software workflow processes and we selected them because they
are the leading court software provider."
"The Incode investment will reduce paper-driven processes for Corpus
Christi, its customers and staff while delivering real-time access to
information and online productivity gains," said Brett Cate, president
of Tyler's Local Government Division. "Courts like Corpus Christi and
those in similar sized jurisdictions are choosing Incode because our
solution is scalable and that flexibility is one reason why more than
750 municipal court clients nationwide have selected Tyler to provide
its case management software."
Corpus Christi is the eighth most populous city in Texas with about
312,000 residents. The city also has the fifth largest port in the U.S.,
the Port of Corpus Christi.
