Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a contract with
Washtenaw County, Mich., to implement Tyler's Odyssey® court
case management solution. Odyssey
replaces the trial court's current system that had not been updated or
modified since 2005. The agreement includes related professional
services, training and support.
Washtenaw County selected Odyssey for its integrated offering of case
management, financial management and public accessibility applications.
Additionally, Tyler's perpetual license philosophy safeguards the
county's software investment because all future Odyssey updates are
included as part of the annual maintenance agreement.
Washtenaw County is home to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and
has a population of 345,000 covering an area of 720 square miles.
Washtenaw County joins Michigan circuit courts in Wayne County and
Kalamazoo County as Odyssey customers, serving more than 2.4 million
residents. Three of the top 10 most populous counties in Michigan are
Odyssey clients.
