Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed agreements with the city
of Allen, Texas, and the city of College Station, Texas, for Munis®
enterprise resource planning (ERP). Allen also chose Tyler's EnerGov®
planning, permitting and licensing solution to improve efficiencies
citywide. The agreements include software licenses, related professional
services, maintenance and support.
The city of Allen has grown rapidly during the past two decades and
needed modern technology to support additional growth and the
expectations of an Internet-savvy population. After a competitive review
process, Allen chose Tyler's Munis solution to help enhance customer
service and enable more efficient operations. The city selected multiple
Munis applications, including financial management, human capital
management and citizen self-service.
Allen will also implement Tyler's EnerGov solution, which includes
permitting, regulatory management, land use planning, GIS mapping and
self-service for citizens and employees, as well as a mobile application
suite.
The city of College Station chose Munis after reviewing solutions to
support business functions including grant management, content
management and project accounting, among others. They will implement
core Munis applications, including financial management, human capital
management, citizen self-service and content management. City leaders
saw that the Tyler solution would help improve operational efficiency,
enhance inter-departmental communication, and boost public access to
city information and online services.
Tyler's integrated Munis ERP and EnerGov permitting solutions are
commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products that are flexible enough to
meet municipalities' current and future needs.
