Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed an agreement with Santa
Clara County, California, for Tyler's Eagle™
Recorder solution to replace the county's legacy system. The agreement
includes related professional services, training and support.
To secure a new solution for its County Clerk-Recorder's Office, the
county searched for a system to fully integrate the various and distinct
functions of the consolidated department, streamlining workflow and
increasing access to data.
Eagle will provide Santa Clara County a technologically advanced
platform to simplify land, vital and clerk-record management, provide
Web-enabled public access, and help better manage e-recordings.
Santa Clara County selected Tyler's Eagle Recorder after seeing how the
solution could improve operational efficiencies through automating
numerous recording processes, including cashiering, and document image
repository search and retrieval, as well as county clerk functions, such
as marriage licenses and fictitious business names.
Santa Clara County is at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay in
the heart of Silicon Valley; it's California's fifth-largest county,
with approximately 1.8 million residents, and the county has 15,000
employees.
