Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a contract with the
Dallas Central Appraisal District (DCAD) of Dallas County, Texas, for
mass appraisal services using Tyler
Verify™. Under the agreement, Tyler appraisal staff will use Tyler
Verify software to conduct street-level imaging and data verification
services for DCAD.
The current appraisal project is DCAD's third using Tyler Verify
services since 2002; the county engages in image updates every six to
seven years.
Tyler Verify will be used to photograph the approximately 650,000
commercial, industrial and residential properties within the district.
The project, which is scheduled to be completed by November 2015, will
include imaging and verification of DCAD's structures using a
field-based stop, verify and compose approach to data collection.
To ensure accuracy and reliability, Tyler Verify incorporates
leading-edge database management tools, GIS application, GPS data
capture and digital photography.
Skilled appraisal specialists from Tyler's appraisal services business,
CLT Appraisal Services™, have been collecting and verifying an average
of 64,000 parcels monthly using Tyler Verify software for more than two
decades. CLT Appraisal Services is the country's only national mass
appraisal service company, appraising nearly 1 million parcels annually
