Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed an agreement with New
Hanover County, North Carolina, for Tyler's CLT
Appraisal Services™ to appraise all residential,
agricultural, commercial, exempt and industrial properties in the county.
New Hanover County selected Tyler to complete the reappraisal after a
competitive request for proposal process. The county rated vendors on
the length of time the vendor has provided reappraisal services to local
governments, experience working with large and complex jurisdictions
with more than 60,000 parcels, references from large jurisdictions, and
the vendor's resources to successfully complete the project.
Through the agreement, Tyler's CLT Appraisal Services staff will provide
New Hanover County with real property appraisal services and will
utilize and interpret information collected by New Hanover County Tax
Administrator staff. County staff have been visiting each parcel of
property since the fall of 2013 in an effort to ensure the information
they have on hand for the revaluation is correct and up-to-date. The
two-year project to reappraise the county's more than 101,500 parcels is
scheduled to be completed by March 2017. The county's last reappraisal
of real property was done in-house in 2012.

New Hanover County is the second-smallest county in the state by area
