Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed an agreement with the
Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino, to implement
Tyler's Odyssey®
court case management software solution for all of its remaining case
types, including civil, family, juvenile and probate. This expansion of
Odyssey builds upon the court's initial selection of the solution in
2014 for traffic and criminal case types. The agreement includes related
professional services, training and support.
As with its previous Odyssey selection, San Bernardino Superior Court
used California's Master Services Agreement (MSA) that allows the
state's 58 superior courts to efficiently procure Tyler's Odyssey
integrated court case management system through pre-negotiated terms,
pricing and conditions. Currently, 25 California superior courts have
selected Tyler's Odyssey court management solution to handle a wide
variety of case types.
Overall, Odyssey serves more than 100 million residents, a third of the
U.S. population, in more than 600 counties across 21 states. With more
than 550 full-time employees dedicated to courts and justice solutions,
Tyler has the capability to manage dozens of Odyssey client
implementations concurrently. In 2014, Tyler staff converted 33 million
cases, 64 million parties and almost $4 billion in payments for clients
moving to Odyssey from other systems.
Being the fifth-most populous county in California, San Bernardino
County serves more than 2 million residents. With more than 20,000
square miles that include part of the Mojave Desert, the county borders
Nevada and Arizona and is the largest county by area in the contiguous
United States.
