Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today introduced new data capture
products for its iasWorld® and Orion™ property appraisal and
tax administration solutions at the International Association of
Assessing Officers (IAAO) annual conference in Indianapolis. Orion
SmartFile and iasWorld
SmartFile, previously branded as iasWorld eFile™, are integrated online
solutions that allow jurisdictions to share and collect information from
constituents without using printed documents or filing paper forms.
The Web-based application integrates with Tyler's iasWorld and Orion
software, which includes functionality for computer-assisted mass
appraisal (CAMA) and tax billing and collections. Able to capture
virtually any type of content, iasWorld SmartFile and Orion SmartFile
can validate and navigate how users input data, eliminating paperwork
and redundant manual data entry processes. Additionally, these products
streamline constituent communications and notifications, giving
taxpayers more opportunities to interact with jurisdictions.
"Tyler is committed to developing solutions that help our clients meet
evolving needs, such as moving toward paperless processes," said Andrew
D. Teed, president of Tyler's Appraisal & Tax Division. "We're pleased
to expand the breadth of our portfolio to include iasWorld SmartFile and
Orion SmartFile as new tools that our clients can use to increase
efficiency in their appraisal and tax offices."
Tyler will be at booth #401 at the IAAO annual conference, where
attendees can learn, network and share ideas with industry professionals.
