School district selects Tyler's Munis software suite to eliminate standalone systems and integrate processes

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed an agreement with Virginia's Stafford County Public Schools (SCPS) for Tyler's Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. The agreement includes software licenses, professional services, maintenance and support.

"We determined after conducting due diligence that Munis is a robust and affordable system that is fully automated and integrated, which addresses the functional needs and requirements we were looking for in a new system," said SCPS Assistant Superintendent for Financial Services Lance Wolff. "With Munis, we'll be able to provide our users with more timely information, improved reporting capabilities, and the ability to eliminate redundant and unnecessary manual processes."

SCPS selected Tyler's Munis ERP solution to eliminate standalone financial, human resources, payroll and benefits systems, and to increase the speed and accuracy of transaction processing. To do this, SCPS invested in a wide range of Munis applications, including financial management, human resource management, content management and employee self-service.

"Tyler has decades of experience providing schools with the software needed to succeed," said Chris Hepburn, senior vice president of Tyler's ERP & School Division. "We're pleased Stafford County Public Schools saw the value that Munis brings to school districts and we look forward to helping them achieve their goals."

Stafford County Public Schools has approximately 27,350 students across 30 schools. The county is 40 miles south of the District of Columbia and is part of the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria Metropolitan Statistical Area with a population of almost 137,000.
