Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a software-as-a-service
(SaaS) agreement with the city of Hendersonville, Tennessee, for Tyler's EnerGov™
planning, regulatory and maintenance platform. The city will also
implement Tyler's Munis®
enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. The agreement includes
software subscription fees, implementation, maintenance and support.
The GIS-centric EnerGov solution will replace outdated software as part
of the city's goal of better managing its permit tracking and plan
review requirements while improving business practices and how it serves
its constituents. Hendersonville selected Tyler because it wanted a
highly experienced technology partner with a proven track record of
delivering services to similar-sized cities in Tennessee. Hendersonville
has approximately 22,000 parcels of land.
EnerGov will help the city streamline its business processes, increase
employee efficiency and productivity, and improve citywide access to
data by integrating internal and external processes. The agreement
includes implementing EnerGov ePortal™ to provide
user-friendly online access to services 24 hours a day, every day of the
week.
Hendersonville also chose core Munis applications, including payroll and
human resources management, in addition to Tyler
Content Manager™. Munis will provide greater automation
and improved functionality within the city's human resources and payroll
departments.

As the largest city in Sumner County, Hendersonville is located about 15
