Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that Ohio's
Cuyahoga County Public Library has gone live with Tyler's New World™
enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.
"Tyler's New World system is already enhancing efficiency across
Cuyahoga County Public Library," said Scott Morgan, operations director
and fiscal officer for Cuyahoga County Public Library. "The integrated
New World system enables the Library to more easily share financial
information across departments and divisions, resulting in staff having
increased access to data and more efficient work processes. For example,
purchase orders from our book selection software will feed directly into
our financial system, automating various steps. The Tyler New World
team's extensive special district experience has helped make our
implementation process run smoothly."
Cuyahoga County Public Library went live with Tyler's New World
financial management applications on June 20, 2016, completing a
seven-month implementation process. The technology is enabling
electronic approval processes, eliminating reliance on paper records and
increasing transparency for stakeholders.
"We provide special districts and authorities technology developed
specifically for the public sector to help them create efficiencies and
improve business operations and customer service," said Roger Routh,
vice president & general manager, Tyler New World ERP. "Tyler is proud
of our record of on-time, on-budget go-lives, and we are committed to
continuing this partnership as the library transitions to the new
solution."
Library leaders chose Tyler's New World ERP solution to replace a legacy
system, valuing New World's integration capabilities to help create
efficiencies and increase data access. Cuyahoga County Public Library
also saw how Tyler's New World solution's reporting capabilities allows
it to provide staff, directors and county leaders expanded reports and
pertinent information.
Cuyahoga County Public Library, which has been rated the No. 1 library
in the country for the past six years, consists of 27 branches serving
47 communities within the Cleveland metro area.
The New World ERP solution became part of Tyler's enterprise financial
systems product suite via Tyler's acquisition of New World Systems
Corporation in 2015.
