Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) signed a joint agreement with the New
York State Department of Taxation and Finance (DTF) and the New York
State Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) for its iasWorld
CAMA™ computer-assisted mass appraisal software solution. The
contract, which was signed in the first quarter and is valued at $20
million, also includes iasWorld Inquiry & Appeals™
tracking, iasWorld Field Mobile™ and iasWorld®
SmartFile solutions.
In New York, Tyler's iasWorld solution is used in the top three
assessing jurisdictions by parcel count - the Town of Brookhaven uses
the iasWorld CAMA solution, Nassau County uses iasWorld Tax™ and CAMA,
and New York City is currently installing iasWorld Tax. Tyler has also
implemented or is in the process of implementing several state- and
province-wide solutions for iasWorld, including in Tennessee and West
Virginia in the U.S., and Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and British Columbia
in Canada. In addition, iasWorld is also installed in all counties
across Hawaii.
