Record-Setting Tyler Connect Conference

Tyler welcomed an all-time high attendance of nearly 6,000 clients to its annual Connect user conference in San Antonio, Texas, from May 7-10. The three-day conference featured classes, networking, and an impressive lineup of speakers. Here are a few highlights from the event:

  • The conference kicked off with a panel featuring President & CEO Lynn Moore, COO Jeff Puckett, Digital Solutions President Elizabeth Proudfit, and CIO Kevin Iwerson. The panel was hosted by Dustin Haisler, chief innovation officer for e.Republic, who surveyed the speakers about their insights on civic experience, data, workforce, and cloud hosting. One feeling shared across the panel was a continuing vigilance over cybersecurity. Having a strong partner to focus on security issues can ease concerns, Iwerson said, while allowing government employees to focus on their daily work.
  • Tyler recognized 32 clients as Public Sector Excellence Award winners. This year, Tyler introduced all new award categories for recognition: Civic Interaction & Public Trust; Connected Community; Data & Transparency; Digital Services & Cloud; Equity & Access; Operational Efficiency; and Performance & Innovation. Each winner demonstrated leadership, innovation, and excellence in developing, deploying, or maintaining Tyler solutions within their jurisdictions.
  • There were more than 700 classes offered at Connect, including panels, roundtables, and lectures alongside hands-on labs and workshops. Product-specific sessions offered detailed training and conversations with product owners and managers, so clients could get one-on-one assistance with their Tyler products.

Tyler CFO Brian Miller looks forward to Tyler’s Investor Day, coming up on June 15.

For the first time since before the pandemic, we are excited to welcome institutional investors and financial analysts to an in-person Investor Day on June 15 in Frisco, Texas. The event will feature presentations by President and CEO Lynn Moore and several members of our senior leadership team.

The half-day session will include a strategic overview detailing our progress executing our cloud-first initiatives and our long-term growth drivers, a deep dive into Tyler’s payments platform, and a financial overview supporting Tyler’s 2030 vision. While the in-person session has limited capacity, we invite others to attend the live video webcast on June 15 from 8:30 – 12:30. If you’re interested, you can sign up at this registration link. If you’re not able to join on June 15, you can also access the archive at the Events & Presentations section of Tyler’s investor relations website following the event.

In May, Tyler published its fourth annual corporate responsibility report, a compilation of the company’s ESG activities. Employee engagement, governance, and information security, as well as Tyler’s DEI initiatives, were highlighted in this year’s report. Here are a few key accomplishments in 2022 related to each of these areas:

  • Employee engagement: Expanded Tyler’s paid parental leave benefit to offer 12 weeks of paid leave for team members to bond with growing families
  • DEI: Created a Corporate DEI Council to share best practices, focusing on Tyler’s three strategic DEI pillars of career, culture, and communities
  • Information security and governance: Formalized a multi-layered security governance structure to expand its senior information security leadership and developed a holistic risk management approach to identify and respond to information security risks
