More than 5,500 public sector leaders gathered in San Antonio, Texas, for Tyler’s annual user conference, Tyler Connect. The conference featured nearly 700 education and training sessions to help users maximize their Tyler investments and stay up to date on technology trends and best practices. Some highlights from this year’s conference included:
- President and CEO Lynn Moore as the opening session speaker, who welcomed attendees to Connect, noting that everyone gathered plays a pivotal role “in shaping the world we’re building together through technology.” Moore went on to highlight three key investment areas: AI, cloud, and client experience. Moore was followed by Chief Client Officer Andrew Kahl, who shared thoughts on how trust is earned, strengthened, and maintained over time. He shared his perspective on the client continuum, which supports clients in every step of their technology lifecycle with Tyler.
- A robust media hub featured a live Tyler Tech Podcast booth. During Connect, the team recorded 22 podcast episodes featuring 10 clients and seven partners. While many of these episodes will be published over the next few months, you can listen to a recent episode with Andrew Kahl on client experience here.
- A special reception to honor 28 different Tyler Excellence Award winners. Winners were recognized for their leadership, innovation, and excellence in developing, deploying, or maintaining Tyler solutions within their jurisdictions. Tyler Excellence Award winners were selected in the following categories: Civic Interaction & Public Trust, Connected Community, Data & Transparency, Digital Services & Cloud, Equity & Access, Operational Efficiency, and Performance & Innovation.
- Appreciation, recognition, and celebration of Tyler’s incredible clients, including a Texas fiesta-themed client appreciation event. Tyler also partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank to support its mission to provide meals for school-aged kids year-round. Clients and Tyler team members filled 1,000 backpacks with kid-friendly foods to support local children.

Tyler CFO Brian Miller comments on Tyler’s investor and analyst session at Tyler Connect.
Tyler hosted a dedicated investor and analyst session during Tyler Connect, which featured members of Tyler’s executive team and was attended by more than 35 investors and analysts. Lynn Moore and Brian Miller discussed the company’s progress since its 2023 Investor Day, which includes 692 flips from on-premises deployments to the cloud; ~$900 million in cumulative free cash flow; and a significant improvement in operating margins thanks to benefits of the ongoing cloud transition, mix shift, scale, and disciplined cost management.
A moderated executive panel discussion covered Tyler’s investments in a unified client experience across the entire client continuum to drive consistency and predictability. Andrew Kahl highlighted our strategic approach as not just a framework but rather a strategy rooted in an infinity loop, designed to continuously evolve and deliver increasing client value and drive deeper client connections. The panel also discussed Phase 2 of our cloud transition, which includes operationalizing the cloud and creating a scalable foundation for greater cloud adoption. Lastly, the panel emphasized the interconnected nature of a unified cloud experience and our cloud transformation, combined with our deliberate AI strategy, noting Tyler’s differentiators in this ever-changing technology space, including our access to data, strong domain expertise, and technical know-how. We encourage you to watch the video replay of the 2025 Connect Investor Session.
